What is the smart widget?

The Smart Widget is a powerful automation tool designed to optimize the display of shoppable videos on your e-commerce website. Instead of manually assigning videos to individual product pages, the Smart Widget dynamically selects and displays the most relevant videos based on product-video tagging. This feature significantly reduces the time and effort needed to manage video content across multiple product pages, while ensuring a personalized and engaging shopping experience for your customers.

How does it work?

You simply tag your videos with the relevant products, and the Smart Widget will do the rest. When a customer visits a specific product page, the widget automatically selects and displays the videos that have been tagged with that product.

Let take an example, imagine you have:

Product list: P1, P2, P3

Video list:

• V1 is tagged with P1, P2
• V2 is tagged with P2, P4
• V3 is tagged with P1, P2, P3

Now, here’s what happens:

• When a customer visits Product P1, the Smart Widget will automatically show: V1 and V3 (because both are tagged with P1)

• For Product P2, it will show: V1, V2, and V3 (all three videos are tagged with P2)

• For Product P3, it will show: V3 only (as it's the only video tagged with P3)
